A Big Change

Coming from a small town, a big city like Memphis was kind of intimidating. In a small town, everywhere you go you see a familiar face; but in a big city like Memphis that's definitely not the case! I moved to Memphis for college, and now that I am in college I have finally realized that moving to a big city was one of the best decisions I have made.

Living in a large city like Memphis has opened up so many opportunities for me to grow emotionally, spiritually, and financially. God placed me in this big city for a reason, and I want to influence others as much as I can whether it be through school, makeup, fashion, or any other way.

I wanted to share a bit of my story for those who feel intimidated by big cities or a big change. God has a reason for all things, and his will is always the best way! I wanted to share a scripture for those that sometimes feel scared or intimidated by change:

"Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you." Deuteronomy 31:8 (NLT)
