Memorial Day Weekend Recap
Memorial Day is a special time during the year to remember every fallen soldier that died fighting for you, me, and everyone else. America celebrates this holiday perfectly by gathering with family, swimming, and cooking the best summer food - hot dogs, burgers, and kabobs! Keep reading below to see how I celebrated Memorial Day!
Memorial Day weekend started early for me. My best friend Sydney is home from New York, so we started a little early on Friday with a small gathering with friends. Saturday, I started the day with makeup for a bridal party. Afterwards, I headed over to Midtown with my friend Mallory. We met up to have a small snack from Muddy's and to take a few cute pictures for the blog.
While taking pictures, I found the coolest back alley with all sorts of hardware that looks like your iPhone settings app in real life haha! I thought it was the perfect spot to capture a shot. & Special shoutout to Mallory Dill Cassady for being a bomb photographer!!

Sunday night was the highlight of my weekend! A riverboat with stunning views of downtown Memphis-can you say AMAZING! It was such a beautiful site to see! The boat left around 7:30p, so the sun was setting. The sun eventually went down, and the downtown city lights lit up the entire sky! I went with a few friends, and we had such a great time!!

I didn't really do anything special for Memorial Day. My boyfriend took me shopping, we went out to eat at Red Lobster, and we watched the Western Conference NBA Finals. Go Warriors!!
