Memphis Fashion Week Recap
I started my internship with Memphis Fashion Design Network back in August of 2016, and I have enjoyed every second of being apart of this experience. What I have enjoyed most about working for MFDN is the networking connections that this internship has made for me. Also, seeing the designs come together by different established and upcoming designers in the community has also been fun. Memphis Fashion Week is Memphis Fashion Design Network's biggest fundraising event of the year where the Memphis community comes out to see the designs by local designers walk down the runway. The best part of Memphis Fashion Week was being the backstage director and working with the models. I also enjoyed seeing everyone's different styles at the events of Memphis Fashion Week. Below you will find the different outfits I wore to the different events of Memphis Fashion Week along with similar outfit details! Hope you enjoy, leave a comment down below if you like!
This dress I bought from Plato's closet for $16 bucks, you can't beat that. And these shoes are your ordinary nude single sole ankle strap heels. The teardrop turquoise earrings are from a local boutique.
One of my favorite looks from Memphis Fashion Week! This bell sleeved high neck top I bought from Forever21 for $15. These high waisted yellow trousers are such a successful thrift store find! The olive ankle strap heels are from Forever21 for $20. The teardrop gold earrings are from a local boutique.
The blush toned top is a suede body suit from Forever21 for $10. The skirt is another successful thrift store find for $4. and The olive shoes are, again, from Forever21 $20. These bold earrings are from Forever21 as well for $6
The Blazer vest is from Maurice's. The trousers are from Target. and the shoes are from ShoeDazzle! I accessorized this look with a simple pair of pearls.
