Snowy Days

It snowed a few days ago here in Memphis, and it was such a beautiful and peaceful sight to see. There's something about watching the snowfall that is so calming. I knew as soon as the snow fell that I wanted to shoot in the snow. Of course, it is freezing outside. It was 20 degrees outside this day, so I had to be sure to dress accordingly.

When dressing for the snow, I always add layers to stay warm. I always wear at least two shirts. Specifically for sweaters, I just wear a tank or a long sleeve fitted
t-shirt underneath. For the bottoms, whether I am wearing jeans or leggings, I always add a pair of leggings underneath. The only exception is with distressed jeans. I am sure to wear closed toe shoes in the snow, specifically boots. This way I can wear a nice pair of long, think, and fluffy socks to keep my toes warm!!!
I went on a lunch date with my photographer friend, so I just decided to be casually formal. I have been loving oversized turtleneck sweaters this winter just because they are perfect for snuggling up and keeping you warm. I decided to wear this cream turtleneck sweater from Forever21. I paired it with a pair of regular black leggings, and my black Marciano boots. I chose my camel coat to keep the outfit very neutral to match with my handbag.
